Description: Senior/Principal Programmer Analyst Position Position: Full-Time Regular Open Date: Tuesday, July 24, 2007 4:13:41 PM Functional Area: Clinical Location: Philadelphia,-aPennsylvania -a King of Prussia, -a -a -a Required Degrees: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: 5 years Relocation: Not Indicated Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related discipline. Masters degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years experience in analyzing and reporting clinical trials. - Excellent SAS programming skills including Base SAS, SAS Stat, SAS Macro and SAS Graph. - Good understanding of the drug development process. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related discipline. Experience in Clinical Pharmacology and knowledge of pharmacokinetic (PK) data. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Details: - Work on clinical projects to provide technical input to study teams, create analysis-ready data sets and data displays; creation of Population PK data sets. - Act as coordinator and contact for outsourced programming and reporting work. - Work closely with statisticians and data managers, but should be able to work independently to perform and coordinate programming duties - Act as a department point of contact for customers in Clinical Pharmacology, clinical study teams, and across other departments in Drug Development Sciences (DDS) and attend meetings with senior staff within these groups as appropriate. - Work with staff in the other internal departments and outsourced operations to help review and prioritize workload. - Be able to act as a mentor for more junior staff. - Develop and provide programming and reporting training to staff Contact Information: You may apply for this position online by selecting the Apply for this Job button.
