Description: Modis is seeking a Web Developer for one of their clients due to growth and required staff demands.



Our Client, Located in King of Prussia, PA is a leading organization for on-line retailing and direct response marketing businesses for retailers, professional sports organizations, media cmopanies, et.  Our client desires to engage the ideal candidate on a Contract-to-Hire basis with conversion to their employ after a contract period of net less than 6 months.



Position Title: Web Developer I (Creative)



The Web Developer will need 1-3+ years of development experience with HTML, CSS, JSP, and JavaScript.  The Developer will be working with the Manager of Web Development as well as the Creative and Engineering Teams.  This position will work along side Graphic Designers, Information Architects, Marketing teams and Project Management teams.



A strong knowledge of JSP is essential for this position



Responsibilities



Maintain existing pages

Build HTML e-mail campaigns.

Maintain internal documentation and intranet files.



Requirements



Fluent in a code-based code editor (such as Macromedia HomeSite).

Solid experience in Adobe Photoshop and image optimization techniques.

Basic knowledge of XML.

Understanding of browser capabilities and design constraints on the web.

Ability to be self-motivated and deliver projects on time with minimal supervision.

Ability to demonstrate previous work via URLs.
