Description: Pricing and Analytics Systems Developer

Senior Application Developer (5+ years)





Responsibilities:



• Developing middle-tier Applications



• Support and re-factor existing applications



• Architect, Design, and Implement new applications or systems



• Creating automated tests as part of test driven development methodology



• Manage and/or participate in multiple high priority projects simultaneously and interacting with your peers to make the best technical decisions





Minimum Technical Skills:



• Experience in n-tiered development



• Comprehensive understanding and usage of Microsoft Technologies (2 – 3 Years)



• Comprehensive understanding of Programming Techniques and Practices (5+ Years)



• Comprehensive understanding of .NET Framework (2 – 3 Years)



• 3+ years of development experience with an object oriented language, such as C# or C++



• Win Form development (2+ Years)



• SQL Server 2000 (1+ Year) – experience in developing stored procedures, T-SQL development, schema design



• OO Concepts, Architecture, Design, and Implementation (3 Years Minimum)



Preferred Experience / Interests:



• Workflow development a significant plus (Microsoft BizTalk preferred)



• Financial Reporting



• Reuters RMDS or Bloomberg Server API development experience



• Financial Products Markup Language (FpML)



• Straight-Through-Processing (STP) using SwapsWire, the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC), FXAll or SWIFT



• Development experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment



• Experience refactoring legacy applications



• College level Calculus and Statistics preferred



• Exposure to accounting or accounting systems a plus



• Experience working with ticker-plants or high performance financial databases such as KDB is considered a plus



• Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred, although we retain an open mind as to the major
