Description: Job Title Staff Systems Programmer Auto req ID 3425BR Site Location Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Job Description Staff Systems Programmers work from specifications to develop and/or modify moderately complex software programming applications. They design, code, test, debug, and document systems programs. Staff Systems Programmers perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. They may be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems workstations and servers, including web servers and architecture related to hardware and telecommunications equipment. Staff Systems Programmers communicate router configuration changes and troubleshoot systems errors and bugs. They monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Staff Systems Programmers work to help ensure data/media recoverability. They establish backups and monitor system security. Required Skills UNIX/Linux Full or Part Time Full-Time Travel Requirements Not Applicable Working Hours or Shift 1st Shift (Days, M-F, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm)
