Description: Job Title Lead Systems Programmer Auto req ID 3379BR Site Location Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Job Description Lead Systems Programmers formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modify/maintain complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. They design, code, test, debug, and document those programs. Lead Systems Programmers work on system-level services to ensure proper patch levels on applications and operating systems. They monitor database integrity. Lead Systems Programmers may be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems workstations and servers, including web servers and architecture related to hardware and telecommunications equipment. They monitor web architecture for acceptable performance and user accessibility. Lead Systems Programmers may assist with the evaluation of new and existing software products. They assist and/or mentor less experienced system programmers in day-to-day systems or project-related work activities. Required Skills UNIX/Linux Administration Full or Part Time Full-Time Travel Requirements Not Applicable Working Hours or Shift 1st Shift (Days, M-F, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm)
