Description: We are currently seeking an
Applications Software Developer
to design and develop
Lotus Notes applications
(Notes and web-based) and provide applications support. The incumbent will participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting all Notes applications.



The Application Software Developer will be responsible to create technical methodologies for engineering solutions to Notes development problems, create prototypes and functional specifications for application development projects, determine new development technologies to utilize based on company needs, conceptualize long-term development needs and plans and manage related projects, diagnose and resolve applications issues and provide documentation to support company validations requirements.



Other responsibilities include
:
Perform system analysis to provide cost and benefit analysis
Analyze operational procedures to identify problems and produce written plans for development or modification of applications.
Generate, test, implement and document program code required to develop applications or maintain current systems.
Manage work order activities through resolution.
Provide support to production systems on a seven day per week, 24-hour basis, and routine assistance/consultation to users of Notes applications.
Facilitate training of personnel on use of systems.



To qualify for this position, candidates should possess an Associate’s degree and a
minimum three years related experience and/or training in Lotus Notes/Domino and web-based development. Experience in developing Notes web-enabled applications, including the use of the Notes scripting language is required. Candidates must also possess a working knowledge of Notes Domino R6, experience in HTML and Java and project managment
. Experience in J2EE, JavaScript and XML desired.
