Hmm, I tried as you suggested..
82 letters, lines, paragraphs and beyond.. rewrap, rewrap and join lines,
paste quoted, paste indented, paste indented by, etc.
I even kept the window fullscreen to hopefully notice any effects, but it
keeps the same appearance.
My lines automaticall wrap before reaching the | after 7, by the way.
I didn't keep all the text I typed, ofcourse. that would be spamming :)
