Apparently the official released Pan freeware nntp newsreader version
for Windows binary distribution had two major flaws, both of which
are fixed in the latest beta Pan version for Windows binary.

1. The older pan nntp freeware newsreader could only install into
"c:\program files", which I hope nobody actually ever uses (are there still
idiots out there who install into this directory of hell?). This newer
version of Pan installs anywhere, which all Windows programs should allow,
., c:\bin\usenet\pan

2. The older pan freeware nntp newsreader had no option to resize
photos . This newer version of the Pan nntp newsreader automatically
resizes windows using the option "view -> body pane -> size pictures to
fit".

Hooray. Another problem bites the dust thanks to you!
